Implementation of Contracts (Purchase / Sales/ Traded) .
Pre-shipment activities ( Scrutiny of contracts, Scheduling , nomination of dates / quantity for cargo and nomination of vessel, preparation activities (payment security, documentation, insurance, surveying / agency appointment etc.)
Post-shipment activities ( Scrutiny and circulation of relevant documents, surveying, payment coordination, claims coordination - demurrage, dead freight, cargo shortage)
Claims – All types of Cargo & Demurrage Claims processing and settlement
Implementation of Carriage Contracts (charterparties)
Issuing of voyage instructions, nomination of shipping agents, tracking of vessel positions, coverage by P&I, appointment of inspectors for ROB survey, issuing LoI to vessel owners, calculation of BTA (balance time available), coordination with planning / terminal for berthing of vessel, coordination for claims (demurrage, dead freight, cargo shortage, ROB disputes)
Entering / processing the contract in SAP / Trading system.
Preparing various management Reports (MIS) viz Prepare MIS for Demurrage, dead freight, crude oil arrivals, ocean loss and TC vessel time and capacity utilization
Settlement of payment to various counterparties - P&I club, surveyors and agents etc
Knowledge & Skill needed for Job
- Degree in engineering / science / operations / business management/commerce .
- Minimum 6 years of post qualification experience in Oil & Gas Industry .
- Good understanding of shipping, operations, ability to expedite claim resolution etc. Preference for experience of working / interacting with supply planning or refinery. Familiarity with HSEQ guidelines , marine insurance & contract laws, Claims process .
- Having good analytical & communications skills .
- Fluent in English language.
