This is a nice spot to catch up with friends over drinks and casual conversation. The ambience is relaxed, especially on weekday afternoons when it’s quieter. However, the service could be more prompt.

Kitty and I decided to try Brotzeit for a casual lunch, and we were excited to experience a taste of Germany in Singapore. Kitty had heard great things about their authentic Bavarian cuisine, especially their famous sausages, pork knuckle, and beer. I've been a frequent visitor with my colleagues for years. It's always a go-to spot for us when we want to unwind with some delicious German food and beer. We were initially tempted by the pork knuckle set, which comes with a generous portion of sausages, but we **opted** for the individual Schweinshaxn ($45) and the Bauernwurst ($22) instead, as we didn't think the set would be the right size for just the two of us. Our server, a friendly European woman with a warm smile, was incredibly helpful and recommended this option, which turned out to be the perfect choice. We had a bit of trouble choosing from their extensive beer menu, but our server kindly suggested the Beer Sampler set. She picked out four of their most popular beers, all of which were delicious and made for a wonderful introduction to their offerings. The Schweinshaxn was a true highlight. The crispy outer layer was fantastic, and the meat was flavorful, although Kitty did find it a bit dry. The Bauernwurst was also excellent, and we even asked for extra pickles to complement the sausages, which the server happily provided. The atmosphere was lively and inviting, with a warm and cozy feel. We enjoyed our meal and the overall experience, and it was definitely a great place for a casual lunch. Kitty said she would recommend Brotzeit for a gathering with a group of four. That way, you can enjoy the pork knuckle set and share the large portion, which would be perfect for a group. Overall, we had a fantastic time at Brotzeit @ Raffles City. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was great. It's a great spot to experience a taste of Germany right here in Singapore. I've always enjoyed Brotzeit with my colleagues, and it's wonderful to be able to share this experience with Kitty.

We are Germans, and after four weeks of curries and fried noodles, we were happy to see this restaurant. We got our first dish, and it was like coming home! Not authentic, but just original. Great quality and 1:1 taste. So we came a second time in our 4-day Singapore trip. Absolutely recommended!

If you're carnivorous, this is the place to be. Even better if you go as a group! Great vibes. Love all of their platters, sausages, and bread baskets. I'm not too impressed with their other beverages, but hey, you're here for a different reason. Staff is prompt even during busy periods! I'll definitely be back if I need some bloody protein again.

Brotzeit's springtime dishes are a culinary delight. Spargel was perfectly cooked – tender, yet crisp, slightly sweet, and silky in texture, with hollandaise. The pork knuckle had crispy skin, and the flesh was still moist and tender. Apricot cheese kuchen is delicious – a must-try again.

What a great find near the City Hall MRT! Brotzeit impressed us with its warm service, lively ambience, and authentic Bavarian flavors. Perfect spot for meat lovers: the ribs, schnitzel, and beer were excellent. Special thanks to the staff member for her friendly, attentive service and great hospitality. She deserves 5 stars. We left happy and full, and will definitely be back!

Came here for the German pork knuckles and beer, and it didn't disappoint. Brotzeit has a few outlets around the island and is often packed with people, serving various German dishes and beer. We ordered the pork knuckle with the crispy skin, served with sauerkraut and mashed potatoes, accompanied by a good pint of Hefeweissbier and some sausages on the side. My only complaint would probably be the slightly tough meat in some parts, which is totally understandable for a knuckle that comes with different thicknesses.
