I'm disappointed with the decline in experience. Service has become increasingly slow, and securing a seat now feels like a competition. What’s more frustrating is the steep and unjustified price hikes over the years — the 3-deli set has gone from $14.80 in 2022, to $16.80 in 2023, and now a staggering $20.80 in 2025. That’s a staggering 40% increase. It feels like they’re raising prices simply because they can, without any meaningful improvement in quality or service. Sadly, it’s no longer worth dining here.

Food is excellent as usual. It's something so homely yet so different and satisfying. I love the explosion of flavours and contrasting hot and cold dishes that go well with their 16-grain rice. Even their miso soup is delicious! There's a long queue during lunch peak, mainly from the office crowd, but it clears fast as there is enough manpower to do the orders and cashiering. There was a nice middle-aged female service crew member who assisted me in getting seats.

As always, the food is delicious. They often have add-on specials, such as adding a drink to your deli order for a 50% discount. People are friendly, and service is efficient. Be sure to return your tray to the tray return counter and clear your empty plates after your meal. Clothing for children, household items for women and men, essential oils, and travel items are also available in this store.

The cold delis were amazing! All the fresh ingredients were cooked to perfection, and nothing was mushy or limp. The sauces went perfectly with everything, their fruity notes adding a kick. All the different ingredients used felt like they had been meticulously curated and chosen to make a harmonious taste profile! 👏🏻 I used to think that hot food always has more flavour than cold food! 👏🏻👏🏻 The hot delis were surprisingly overshadowed by the cold delis 🫢 The beef was nice and tender, albeit boring compared to the cold delis. We both preferred the halibut because it was more unique! The 16-grain rice was nicely cooked, soft, and just moist enough! The carrot soup tasted more like pumpkin soup, but it was so good and creamy! At 12 PM on a weekday, there was already a long queue! The food queue moves quite fast, but the queue for the tables is slower. I would suggest going by 11:30 AM at the latest!

Healthy food choices are offered here, with a multi-grain rice option. The meat portion is pretty small, as their sets encourage more cold dishes. The only dish that tasted good was the creamy mushroom dish. Their coffee selection was unavailable at that moment. This was probably due to them closing soon, as we arrived around 7:30 PM. Generally, for the price of this portion of food, it is not really worth it. I guess I paid more for the comfortable atmosphere. The kitchen was very tidy, though. An A+ for that.
