I visited the store in early March during the recent loyalty gift program promotion. The salesperson (whom I shall not name) convinced me to spend a substantial amount to earn sufficient points to redeem the Tier 2 gift. When I finally hit the tier and made payment, she told me they ran out of the Tier 2 gifts. She told me they would replenish them, but it has been more than a month, and after two follow-ups, there is still no sight of my gift. I am extremely annoyed. If you are going to run such promotions, please ensure you have sufficient gifts to redeem. Hence, I am posting this review for you to reconsider your future promotions and poor follow-up. I think all the Dior and other luxury designer boutiques in SG need to seriously address the utter lack of diversity on their on-the-floor sales teams. There are next to no brown or deeper-skinned minorities working in these stores. I mean, the service was alright, nothing fantastic. The salesperson didn't really seem interested in recommending a shade when I went in to get eyeshadows as gifts for Christmas, and her English was pretty appalling. She also seemed very disinterested in interacting or being friendly and made me feel like she just wanted to get the sale over with and have me out of the store. I would expect better service when I am paying so much money at a luxury beauty counter. However, I honestly have no clue why she gave me a foundation sample that was too light for my skin. It wasn't just one or two shades too light; it was five or six shades too light. This was clearly not for an NC45 deeper-skinned girl, and you ought to know that if you're working at a beauty counter. If you don't carry darker shades or are just unaware of what shades to give or recommend deeper-skinned women, then just don't. I was under the impression this place embraced multiracialism and racial diversity. Why are there next to no brown or darker-skinned salespeople on the floor at luxury stores here? Even if there is some sort of reason, perhaps train your staff to understand different skin tones and how to attend to women who have darker skin. Do we not matter? Something to think about.

I am thoroughly upset about the lack of service. I walked in with the intention to purchase Dior Addict Lipstick, as I had been looking at it for quite some time. I was recommended to try what the model was wearing (I am dark-skinned, and the model is very fair). I picked up 5 lipsticks to try and was pointed to the chair to try them out on my own. I just brought all the lipsticks to the chair and tried all of them on my own, smearing them on my lips (I am not even sure if this is allowed, as Chanel uses a scraper to do so). No sales assistant attended to me. I decided that the poor service was not worthy of my money and that I really couldn't choose a shade on my own. I left Dior with no lipstick, and today is my birthday. Service used to be excellent here a year ago. You're better off going to other luxury brand stores where you will not only be attended to but also recommended the right shades until you are spoilt for choice. Furthermore, a sales assistant will politely request you to wait for a while if the shop is crowded.

I had been using another skincare range and was looking for a change. Due to my sensitive skin, taking a leap of faith to try a new skincare range was unimaginable. I decided to pop into Dior at Raffles City, and not only was Rachel empathetic, she listened patiently and shared the array of skincare from Dior. She offered me samples to try to ensure the most suitable range for my skin type. This went on for a couple of weeks before we both agreed on the best combination for me. Having a reliable Beauty Advisor makes a world of difference (at least for me), and I am glad that Rachel has been my 'fairy godmother' for over two years and many more to come!

I have spent easily five figures with Dior Raffles City. The only reason I would make my way down to Dior Raffles City is because of the unparalleled service offered to me by Ms. Rachel (manager). We met at a roadshow in Plaza Singapura many years ago, and we have built a friendship along with a great catalogue of Dior products. It started with the simple commercial perfumes, slowly branching out into makeup items for my girlfriends and wife, along with many other cosmetics for my family members. In any case, what I would really like is to drop by again, or maybe I won’t need to, because whatever I need is ordered via Rachel. Payment is remotely sorted, and my products are shipped to me the same day. She handles everything for me. Sometimes I wonder how lucky I am to come across this individual who holds what I need and want so close to her heart.

They deserve zero stars. Lack of customer service. I was waiting to be served for 5 minutes while they were tending to other customers. At least acknowledge that you have other customers waiting to be served! All I wanted was to buy something. Singapore service needs to buck up 100 percent.
