I visited Sushi Tei Raffles City for the first time four days ago. The portion of Kaisen Ikura Fried Rice was extremely small; the plate it was served on was noticeably smaller than at other Sushi Tei outlets I've dined at. Aburi Engawa and Nodoguro Don were somewhat sufficient. The Gyomei Nabe was my favourite. It contained meatballs and plenty of vegetables. However, the carrot slices could have been bigger. Best of all, the Tanjiro Okonomiyaki was the best. It tasted delicious. The rest were generously portioned. The service was excellent and polite, with special thanks to Victor, Xiao Mei, Ying Wei, Yee Looi, Poh Yee, Restaurant Manager Eileen Chai, and an unknown young male trainee waiter. Kudos to all of them. My thanks also extend to the people who cooked our food, including Leong Pun, Wai Nam, and their team of chefs. Thank you for cooking our food!

The food we ordered was just so-so. Noodles came out undercooked; soft-shell crab had a very bad taste; the croquette was cold. The saving grace was the sushi. Fish was fresh. Next time, we will not order the deep-fried food.

The truffle yuzu mayonnaise ramen is absolutely delicious, full of flavor, and I really enjoy the texture of the noodles. It would be even better with some truffle bits to enhance the taste. The salmon belly is fantastic, rich and smooth, while the Rengoku beef yakiniku bento is definitely a standout, so tasty! However, the red bean soup with rice balls is a bit too sweet for my liking. The staff were much more attentive during this visit compared to my last one. Even during peak hours, they offered us a four-seater table for just two people, which I really appreciated for the extra space.

The quality of their Hanasaki Ika is not as good as it was last time. Although we were given a bigger table, I hadn't finished my meal when the waiter assumed we were leaving. That wasn't very nice service. I might not order the Hanasaki Ika from now on.

I had a lovely solo dining experience here! I requested a more private seating, and the staff were so accommodating, which made the meal even more enjoyable. The restaurant manager was especially attentive—she promptly brought over my dessert with a warm smile, and I appreciated her prompt check-ins. I also loved that my green tea refill came just when I needed it, showing great attention to detail. Overall, a very pleasant and thoughtful experience!

It’s always such a pleasant experience dining at the Raffles City Sushi Tei! The service is the most attentive, especially Eileen and Elaine and all the staff. The food is very good, and we always look forward to coming here! Keep up the good work, and we will surely be back again very soon!

On 27/12/2024, our group of 8 pax had dinner. The 8 meals cost $350, and we also added on 2 sashimi, 2 salads, 7 chawanmushi, and 8 teas. We were happy with our meals, and the wait staff were attentive. It was almost like having a private area for our group, as the interior of the place is very big.

Here's an edited version of the review: "The food here is excellent. I ordered seasonal specials: seafood sushi and a pork-skewer rice bowl. Both were super delicious and of good quality. I can't say much for the service; it's almost non-existent. I waited in line for 15-20 minutes, even though there were at least three empty tables visible. This place used to have a nice ambiance for family and friends' gatherings, but during recent visits, tables have been squeezed closer to other parties. We couldn't really have short chats after a meal; now we just want to leave."

Here's the edited review: Definitely worth it to experience a Demon Slayer-themed anime restaurant collaboration at least once. From the entrance to the design, each themed food choice associated with a character seemed carefully thought out. Note that to purchase the exclusive merchandise, a minimum of $80 must be spent. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience.

Dining at its outlet in Raffles City Shopping Mall certainly impressed me a lot. The quality of food is value for money, portions are generous, and I really love its range of special rolls; it’s a feast not just for the taste buds, but also visually pleasing. The fish is fresh, and I must single out the Kagoshima pork belly sushi as outstanding. The staff is attentive and food service is fast. Overall, it was a satisfactory meal.
