I found the best was the vegetable dish. The Thai basil chicken lacked basil and chili. The fish was steamed well, but I would have preferred it to be slightly more sour and spicier. The food was alright in portion, but I wished the taste was better.

This is our second time as tourists to have lunch here. Again, amazing halal food. We ordered the green chicken, honey chicken with rice, BBQ chicken, honey chicken with egg rice, clear Tom Yum soup, Iced milk tea, and mango sticky rice. Everything tasted super yummy, and it was great value for money.

The set menu was a great value, featuring a whole seabass, although the vegetables could have been enhanced with a bit more chili. The seafood salad had a satisfying tang and generous portions, despite a slight frozen taste in the seafood. The prawn cake was delicious and perfectly fried, and the coconut chicken soup surprisingly captured the authentic flavors I experienced in Thailand. Service was outstanding during the busy dinner period. Every staff member served with a smile, and the team worked seamlessly together.

Hana was extremely friendly and helpful. It was her presence that really improved the service atmosphere. You can tell she is genuine and friendly towards every customer. She does her work well and is a positive and easygoing person. Surprisingly, she had only been in this role for one week when I asked. She is the treasure of ThaiExpress Raffles City. She should be the host. 5 stars for everything, except that the food was slow to arrive. I ordered more because of the good atmosphere and service!

We looked around restaurants in the City Hall basement and found this one to be quite decent price-wise, and it didn't have a long wait. I ordered the egg fried rice, and when I asked the staff if it contained meat, she humorously explained with hand gestures, saying, "Just egg and rice, egg rice" 🤣. I thought it would be the standard scrambled egg fried rice, as fried rice generally is, but it was like cut omelette rice (quite literally as the staff explained it: just egg and rice). It was frankly a little disappointing, but filling nonetheless. My Thai milk tea was quite decent, though a little extra sweet for my liking. The ambience is really nice, and it's a decent place to catch up with a friend over a meal!
