Embassy Chauffeur

The Embassy of Hungary in Singapore is seeking a positive and motivated person to take up position of Chauffeur.

The Chauffeur at the Embassy of Hungary in Singapore plays a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of diplomats, personnel, and materials. This role requires a professional with a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and excellent service.

The candidate will be responsible for a variety of duties but not limited to as outlined below.

The Chauffeur would be responsible for:

• Driving safely within Singapore as assigned
• Transportation of Embassy's diplomats, delegations and guests within the city and the surrounding areas
• Assistance and support to the Embassy Team whenever the need arises
• Maintenance of the Embassy’s official vehicles – cleaning, repairs, on-time servicing to meet safety standards, record-keeping of vehicle movements
• Manage and ensure petrol is filled and cash card balances are sufficient
• Perform basic repairs and maintenance tasks when required
• Supporting routine and urgent dispatch work including errands
• Ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Executive Assistant to the Ambassador

Requirements:

· Valid Class 3 license with minimum 3 years experience with clean driving record

· Responsible, punctual and reliable

· Possess excellent road navigation skills

· Physically fit, alert with sound knowledge of traffic and road safety regulations

· Flexible and able to work outside office hours as and when required (night, weekend, Public Holiday)

· Works well in a team

· Good command of English

· Good knowledge of everyday handyman skills

· Basic computer navigation skills
