I was disappointed with my recent experience at Cedele. I ordered the avo on toast with salmon and a chai, but unfortunately, the food did not meet my expectations. The salmon tasted off and lacked freshness, while the chai was a letdown – it seemed like watery milk without any of the rich, fragrant spices you’d expect from a good chai. Overall, the meal was disappointing, and I left feeling quite dissatisfied.

We enjoyed our simple dinner after the National Day Parade preview. Most restaurants were closed, and we were excited to see Cedele still open at 9 PM. The food was normal, but good enough for a relaxing dinner. The portion was just right for a late dinner.

Ordered 2 mains (all-day breakfast, and rosti with sausage), and both were disappointing. The rosti in particular was really bad — very soggy. Our drinks (chai lattes) didn't taste good either. Coffee Bean makes a chai latte done right, and the one here was poor in comparison. We've been to other Cedele outlets and came away with reasonably good experiences, so this one stood out like a sore thumb.

The Cedele here has good ambience. Their truffle fries are flavourful and crispy. Their cakes are delicious and light, not too heavy but still flavourful. The red velvet cheesecake is great for a sweet tooth!

A very noisy cafe. The sound made by dragging the chair can be deafening. Everyone tends to talk very loudly here. Service is quite good, as staff work very fast to serve.
Cafe latte: feels more like Cappuccino as it's too foamy. I wonder if there's a difference between the two. There is a wide selection of cakes and breads. Cakes and breads are also pricey.

Here's the edited review:
The food is good, as it is in every Cedele, healthy and tasty.
The staff could be better prepared. They have a lot to do because the place is always packed, but we noticed that tables could be cleaned faster and they could be more careful when handling cutlery/napkins – they forgot ours, and when we asked, they got a bit defensive (?).
Other than that, it is a fine place for coffee and a nice lunch during a busy day of work.

Nice brunch menu and pastries. I had the Grilled Chicken and Avocado Burger, served with Sweet Potato Fries. Food is good and served hot.
I also tried their Strawberry Tartlet, Cheese Scallion Scone, and Cranberry Scone. Those are nice too. Coffee is good.
Nice environment, service is okay.

Love visiting this outlet!
It may get crowded at times, but the team is ever welcoming and always ready to assist with a smile.
Really appreciate the kind and lovely gestures of Chin Yee and Siti. They are consistently going above and beyond: remembering my 'usuals' and ensuring I am well taken care of (i.e., checking to see if I have everything I need, reminding me about my membership perks and expiry, and keeping me updated about the latest offers and promotions).
Price is slightly steep, but the food is great; you may even be in for a pleasant surprise if you are willing to step out of your comfort zone.
Though the place is quite tight and has high traffic, it is relatively clean and tidy.

I’ve been ordering this dish from Cedele Raffles City for years. Often, it would be takeout. This time, I did a Grab self-pickup and asked for some extra salsa, and the lady in short hair with glasses demanded an extra $2.00. I don't mind paying; however, why was it given free in the past and not now? And it's not $1.00 or $1.50, but $2.00 for a small container of salsa. They can do way better with their level of service. At this rate, they are only chasing more customers away; many of my friends have already boycotted them. With the experience I had today, it made me even more certain to not patronize them anymore.

I recently started visiting Cedele after trying the salmon sourdough bagel for the first time. Today, I had the Mirin Salmon Grain Bowl ($17). I really appreciate this wholesome dish. Food quality has been consistent in all my three visits here. Importantly, the food came within 5 minutes. If I want clean, nutritious, and quick food, I'll visit Cedele. The service was okay, though. Considering there's no service charge, I think it's still all right. The price point is reasonable.
