I love the bakes here! Not so much the cakes, which I find too pricey for such a small slice, but their other tarts and bakes are delicious! My usual order is their strawberry tart and apple crumble. The Lemon Lust is good too, though it can be a little sweet. The small pantry staples, such as their mixed seeds, are also delicious. Good crunch. Service at this branch is fast and efficient and can be a little curt at times, which is understandable since the flow of traffic is crazy during peak hours. The place to order and wait is also very tight. And the poor staff don't have a proper place to have their meals, but have to sit cramped beside the baking shelves. The packaging has also changed. I've seen the staff struggling to pack the cakes and bakes, and I, too, struggled to open it when I reached home. Hope something can be done. The previous packaging was way easier!

I was glad my friend and I managed to get a high table for dinner on a busy Friday night at this mall. I hardly dine at Cedele, so I’m giving it a conservative 4 for now. The food was served quickly, which was much appreciated. I had the sea bass coriander pesto pasta, which was pretty satisfying. Service was efficient. The ambiance is somewhat lacking due to the low ceiling and the high footfall in the basement level of this popular mall. This branch of Cedele is great for a quick bite before heading to your next destination.

Came over for early lunch on a Sunday, and thankfully it wasn't too crowded. The hearty breakfast is pretty good. I particularly liked the raisin bread paired with butter and strawberry preserve, which elevated the taste. The Eggs Benedict is a safe bet. I've tried them in other outlets, and they were awesome. Overall, it was a good experience. One thing that intrigued me was a guy who came over to sell some merchandise. Not sure if touting is allowed.

Good coffee and cakes, with the standout being the carrot cake. However, it would be good to see more consistency in portion sizes across outlets. The slices of cake served at this branch appear to be smaller than the ones served at other branches, unless there has been a decision to reduce the portion sizes in just two weeks. The person manning the counter was friendly, but staff seemed to be struggling to keep up with orders even though it was not yet peak period. We visited late Saturday morning when there were still quite a number of empty seats, but the cafe filled up quickly as we started eating. The cafe is rather cramped.

Located in a very central position of the mall, it's hard for the place's atmosphere to stand out, much less be appealing or extraordinary. Service staff were overworked, as were the kitchen staff, leading to the rather expected outcome of reduced accuracy and diminished customer service. One latte, fries, and two cakes, some of which were simply fetched from the fridge, took about 15 minutes, which felt a little long. The service staff, however, are good people, and I don't blame them. Still, it's best to avoid during peak hours. Food is about as well-made and expensively priced as at other outlets. Would recommend only when it is quiet.
