Let's start with the good: The chilli crab pork buns were amazing😋, super soft, warm with a juicy, meaty filling and a good little kick! Flavourful Dumplings with a meaty, salty🧂 filling. The texture of the noodles was very nice. Now the bad: Noodles were super messy🫣 and hard to eat; they were a hard lump when served (definitely had to put in some arm work 😰to mix them). I had expected stronger peanut flavour, but sesame took over 🤔, and there was no spice to this dish. They had run out of a lot of dishes, so instead of oriental salad🥗, we got Dou Miao, which I found horrible, grassy🌱, and oily; maybe it's just my taste, though. The service was LACKING 🤵‍♀️hard. We felt very ignored. 😳

Wasn't a big fan of the sponge cake, but everything else was super yummy!

Always a great option to host friends and family. Food is always good, as well as the service. We had a group of 11 people and managed to get a table almost instantly at 6:40pm.

If one has eaten at Din Tai Fung before, then one would know that they are rather inconsistent in taste across their outlets. Outside Taiwan, it's a notch down, and if it's the halal version in Malaysia, it's literally a joke. In SG, there are also certain outlets that taste better, and this one at Raffles City is apparently one of the better ones we tried. (It's not a compliment!) Everything we tried here was great, from the noodles, fried rice, and appetizers, to Xiao Long Baos.

Really good food: Chili Wonton was hot, but very good. Chili Crab was also good, a bit lower than the Wonton. I really liked the Wonton Noodles. For dessert: Chocolate with red bean paste.

Nice breakfast/brunch experience. Friendly staff, fast service. Food is delicious. Negative: Tap water was chargeable. It should be bottled water if you are charging.

We arrived during busy dinner hours and checked in by scanning the code. The wait was about 25 minutes, but since it's inside Raffles, there was plenty to see and do, so the time passed quickly. A waiter came to take our orders right after we sat down, which indicated their efficiency in quickly turning tables. This efficiency is clearly necessary, as there are always many customers waiting out front. Our food came out quite fast, and the staff were very courteous and friendly. They poured our beer and laid out our food with care. We ordered the signature bao and the crab bao. The xiao long bao were delicious and lived up to the hype, as were the appetizer vegetables and greens. We also ordered pork and cream buns. Their skin was very fluffy and soft, and super tasty. Given how busy it was, the place was crowded and a bit noisy, especially since it's inside the mall with no windows all around. However, it wasn't bad; it kind of made the atmosphere more lively. The price was reasonable and offered good value. Highly recommended by IG @WineDinenVacay.

If you visit this location, try to order from the female server. She was polite and friendly and offered me a seat for my takeout order. She also informed me how long it would take. But when I returned, it was the male server. I checked my order and asked him if I could get some chili sauce to go with my order. He refused and wasn't polite. I asked him why the sauce was provided for dine-in customers but not for takeout orders. He refused again and said, "Not possible." I wanted to buy a chili sauce bottle later, but because of this impolite interaction, I just wanted to leave. He simply was lying or didn't want to help. The food was average compared to other Din Tai Fung restaurants I have tried across the world.

Ding Tai Fung is a reliable favourite. I can’t say the same for all branches, but the one in Raffles City has always been good. It does get crowded, and there is usually a queue during peak hours. No matter how busy it gets, wait staff *do* find time to attend to you and are polite. With SG60, they have kaya bun on their menu, which *I* enjoyed — steamed bun with rich, yummy kaya inside and coated with coconuts. I just had to get this as dessert after my usual dishes of XLB and fried rice.

My first time at Din Tai Fung – it was really good! We were lucky to find a free table. The food came quickly, even though she warned us it might take some time. The dishes were always taken away quickly, and it was a good experience overall.
