NamNam at Raffles City brings authentic Vietnamese cuisine to Singapore's central business district, operating from #B1-47 as part of the acclaimed Les Amis Group portfolio since its founding in 2011 by Chef-owner Nam Quoc Nguyen. This casual quick-service noodle bar has established itself as one of Singapore's most popular Vietnamese dining concepts, specializing in fresh, wholesome, MSG-free Vietnamese food including their famous pho and banh mi prepared with traditional techniques and premium ingredients.
The restaurant's signature offerings include 12 pho-licious bowls featuring rich, aromatic broths simmered for hours and infused with authentic spices, topped with fresh herbs, bean sprouts, and choices of tender beef or chicken. Their menu extends beyond pho to include premium options like truffle Australian Wagyu beef pho, traditional banh mi, Vietnamese coffee and desserts, plus exclusive set meals available only at Raffles City and Wheelock Place that offer complete Vietnamese feast experiences from kampong chicken noodles to premium wagyu creations.
Located in Raffles City's convenient basement dining precinct with operating hours from 10am-10pm (last order 9:30pm), NamNam provides accessible Vietnamese dining for busy professionals, shoppers, and tourists exploring Singapore's City Hall area. I saw many people queuing at the Wheelock outlet every time I passed by, so I was curious to try out their Vietnamese food. When I passed by the Raffles City location, seeing it less crowded after lunch hour, I decided to stop for a quick bite before doing my other errands.
I have eaten numerous banh mi, from Vietnam to various SG joints. This was not very authentically Vietnamese in taste. I also ordered a side rice noodle out of curiosity to try it. To my surprise, the noodles were all squeezed into a tiny bowl (as seen in the picture).
I had to ask the service crew to get me a bigger bowl, and I had to pour the noodles into the bigger bowl myself. 😅
Basically, this is a no-service, self-service establishment. As for the food, I have no comments on the other items on the menu since I have yet to taste them. The banh mi, for me, was a good indication, though a bit of a disappointment.

Food is terrible. Pho was stuck together and so hard when it arrived. A friend at the same table did not get her food, but the service staff told her she hadn't placed an order when her drink came. The other friend's appetizer did not come. I ordered coffee for takeaway for 6 bucks, requested it be sent to my table, and the cashier gave a black face.

This waitress, an older lady, was quite interesting. We had just ordered and sat down when she came to tell us there was only a 45-minute eating time. We sat down at 5:30 PM. At that point, there were still empty tables. She could have chosen a better time to inform us about the 45-minute dining time. Her attitude spoiled our appetite at the noodle bar.
The noodles were super salty, and we requested hot water to be added to the soup. Lousy service and not recommended.

Went to this restaurant during dinner hours on a weekday just to avoid queues. True enough, the lack of a queue was justified.
I used to dine at NamNam often when they were still new — the shrinkflation is real.
I ordered a Kampong Chicken Pho but opted for the instant noodles instead, regular size. I was shocked by the amount of chicken and the noodle portion; it's hardly filling for a small eater like myself, even at dinner time.
I would say the noodles could be finished in four mouthfuls at most, and the amount of chicken is miserable. Apart from the largest piece that I could find, as shown in the picture, the rest were just miserable shreds. I wonder what the portion would be like if I were to order a small size noodle.
At the very least, the taste is acceptable, just nothing fanciful or delicious enough to make me come back for a second serving. Hence, the 2 stars instead of 1.

If you are on the go and craving some tasty Vietnamese-inspired food for lunch or dinner, NamNam has what you need. Directly along the walkway in Raffles City shopping center on the B1 level, you will see the entrance and menu board. The dining area has darker lighting than the mall, creating a bit of ambiance on a pretty busy walkway, and wraps around and behind Tarte by Cheryl Koh. NamNam focuses on basics: pho, banh mi, a few starters, and drinks, including Vietnamese coffee. I tried the vegetarian menu items (basically one per category). The crispy lettuce wraps with sweet chili dipping sauce were their starter, and they were crisp and not oily. For the vegetarian pho, I recommend the brown rice noodles—a bit healthier and heartier than the regular rice noodles. Customize your dish with sauces on each table, and at the utensil stand, you'll find limes, fresh-cut red chilis, and other spices. Pho comes in regular and small sizes and is served fast and hot. Open until 10 pm, NamNam is a great place to grab a bite for a late dinner.

One of my favourite restaurants when I’m craving Viet food. Self-service ordering. You then make payment at the counter and get your cutlery and sauce. They will serve you the food. The portion is big.

I've been here more than once.
I had Banh Mi this time, and wow, it truly amazed me!
The coffee was nothing ordinary at first, but all I can say is, I became a little too active that day.
Kudos to the Chinese lady who served our drinks with a smile and full of cheerfulness!

The food here is absolutely delicious, perfectly capturing the authentic taste of Vietnamese cuisine. Each dish is prepared with care and attention to detail, bringing out rich, traditional flavors that transport you straight to Vietnam. The service is equally impressive—friendly, attentive, and efficient, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. A standout item was the fried spring roll, which was perfectly crispy on the outside and filled with a savory, flavorful mix that was incredibly satisfying. Overall, this is a fantastic spot for anyone looking to enjoy genuine Vietnamese food with top-notch service in a welcoming atmosphere.

Weekend Craving Satisfied at Nam Nam 🥳
Had a serious weekend craving for Vietnamese food—specifically chicken pho and fresh spring rolls. I happened to be in the City Hall area and immediately thought of Nam Nam, a place I've been visiting for over 10 years now. It’s one of those spots that never disappoints.
I ordered the small portion of Chicken Pho, knowing I also wanted to enjoy the fresh spring rolls. Even though it was a small bowl, the pho was packed with flavor. The broth was incredibly savory and aromatic. It had that comforting, home-cooked feel that only a well-made pho can deliver. I honestly couldn’t get enough of the soup—it was so rich and flavorful without being heavy.
The spring rolls were fresh, light, and paired perfectly with the dipping sauce, featuring crisp vegetables, tender shrimp, and just the right amount of vermicelli.
Nam Nam remains a go-to spot when I’m craving Vietnamese comfort food. Simple, satisfying, and consistent—even after a decade.

I am really glad that they now have Small and Regular Pho size options, allowing for more meal variation, especially when opting for a Small bowl with sides.
I got the set meal comprising the Chicken Pho (S), a Fried Spring Roll, a Fresh Spring Roll, a Fried Prawn, and a dessert.
Major shoutout to the Fresh Spring Roll, which had a unique taste with its mix of prawn and marinated chicken filling.
Adding a Beef Pho (S), the total bill was ~$30 for two people. It was all very enjoyable, and the only downside might be that tables are closely packed together to optimize seating capacity. You will need to order at the cashier and collect your own utensils, as they do not charge for service.
