Casa Vostra opened in August 2024 at Raffles City Shopping Centre, connected to City Hall MRT Station at 252 North Bridge Road #01-49, occupying the prime space formerly held by McDonald's. This authentic Italian restaurant is helmed by Chef Antonio Miscellaneo, who also operates La Bottega Enoteca, recognized as Singapore's top pizzeria in 2024 and ranked No. 57 in the world's Top 100 Best Pizza list in 2023. Casa Vostra represents the group's first brick-and-mortar expansion after successful pop-up operations at Ann Siang Hill, bringing world-class Italian cuisine to one of Singapore's most accessible locations in the City Hall district.
The restaurant specializes in slow-fermented Newpolitan pizzas made from select Italian flours, fermented traditionally for over 48 hours, shaped individually by Master Pizzaiolos, and baked at 500°C. Their menu features three pizza categories: Newpolitan Red with premium San Marzano tomato base, Newpolitan White showcasing artisanal cheeses, and the innovative Doublecrunch offering an extra-crispy layered pizza sandwich. Casa Vostra also serves handmade pasta crafted into various shapes suited for specific sauces, including their signature Crab Tagliatelle (S6) with tender crab flesh and tomato confit, plus traditional Napolitan street food like frittatina (S) - crispy fried pasta balls in carbonara or lasagne varieties.
Casa Vostra operates daily 11am-10pm and has quickly gained popularity for offering authentic Italian cuisine at remarkably affordable prices, with no items exceeding S8 and pastas starting from S3. Despite frequent hour-long queues that form outside the restaurant, diners consistently praise the quality and value. The semi-open kitchen allows guests to watch food preparation and observe pizzas entering the large wood-fired oven, creating an engaging dining atmosphere. Located in Raffles City's bustling retail environment, the restaurant provides convenient access to shopping, entertainment, and transport connections, making it an ideal destination for both local food enthusiasts and international visitors seeking genuine Italian flavors in Singapore's central business district.
Went for a late lunch with a friend when there was no queue on 1/8/25. We wanted to check it out since there was a lot of feedback about the place. We ordered the pesto pizza and the crab pasta. The pesto pizza was the only redeeming factor about the location. When the crab pasta arrived, my friend noticed a strong smell from the dish. I didn't notice it, so I took a mouthful of both the pasta and some crab pieces from the plate. After my friend tried the pasta alone, she felt queasy because the taste was really off. I didn't think much about it, but she told me not to continue eating from the plate. So we finished the pizza and left the pasta untouched. I got really sick about two hours after the meal and was in significant pain — the crab must have been spoiled when the pasta was prepared. All I can say is that I'm glad we didn't eat any more of the pasta after trying it.

Here's the edited review:
The queue for dinner service **was** long, but we were lucky we went a little earlier and only had to wait for about 20-30 min.
The dining time limit was 1 hour.
Our pasta was served first (delicious); the pizza took a while because it was freshly made. Overall, the food tasted great!
There **was** also a free-flow, self-service water station, which was convenient.

We went to this restaurant last Sunday. To avoid peak hours, we chose to go after the lunch period, but we still had to wait in line for about half an hour to get our seats. We ordered three flavors of pizza: black truffle, pesto, and beef. The black truffle flavor was very rich and fragrant. The pesto and beef flavors were also delicious, with a strong cheese flavor. The only downside was that the edges of the pizza were a bit burnt. Otherwise, these three flavors would have earned five stars.

Casa Vostra is one of the newest additions to the Raffles City dining scene, taking over the space previously occupied by McDonald's. Intrigued by the long lines and curious if the hype was worth it, we decided to try it out over the weekend.
Despite the strict 1-hour dining limit, our experience was enjoyable. We ordered two pizzas and one carbonara, and everything was well-cooked and flavorful. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the dishes had that authentic Italian touch we were hoping for.
We’re already planning a return visit to explore more of their pizza selections and hopefully try their desserts too. If you’re in the area and craving good Italian food, Casa Vostra is definitely worth the wait.

It's been a while since I queued 1.5 hours for a meal. Today, I was free with no plans for the night, so I had some time to spare and enjoyed the queue while observing City Hall. Good service by the cute but stressed concierge at the front desk, handling the queue calmly and without panic against the massive crowd, perhaps protected by her nice talisman tattoo. Pizza, pasta, and sides tasted the same as my Italian friend's restaurant in Phuket. Authentic! Very salty and heavy on the palate, but still very nice – especially the aged Parmesan ham, truffles, and cheese. The portion is just right, and I can say it's pretty reasonably priced for its quality. The dough of the pizza is very chewy while crispy at the corners. The burnt corners – ohohoh, always to my liking! Friendly manager with a handsome mustache even offered to help us take a photo. Other staff were prompt and responsive to requests. I really enjoyed the dinner. I was damn full. By the way, this is not a biased review; I didn't request any free dessert. 🤪 By the way, the Italian chili oil was interestingly aromatic and not spicy. 🤪🤪
However, if queuing is frustrating for those who have less time on hand, come after 8:30 PM. I observed that the queue was smooth and fast then. 💡💡

There's a ridiculous queue at this place starting from 5 PM for dinner. I chanced upon an opportunity when the queue was short and I had to give it a try! To my surprise, the carbonara pasta was really very average, but the pizza was really amazing and delicious! I’ll be back again as long as the queue is not too long!

The food is excellent and authentic Italian, and we did not go wrong with any of our choices. We've already returned once within a month for the fantastic prosciutto pizzas (additional ham for only $6!). It's leagues ahead of most other casual dining spots/cafes we've tried in Singapore.

The queue says it all. Visited Casa Vostra twice and was pleasantly surprised by the high quality and delicious food. Pastas were well prepared, sauces well-balanced, and made with fresh, authentic ingredients. Pizzas were freshly made, and the dough was really fluffy and chewy. Appetizers were delicious too; my favorite was the arancini. The price is very reasonable by Singapore’s standards. This is the one pasta/pizza joint that I will frequent.

If you miss the first seating, you have to wait for about 45 minutes or an hour for a table. If you're not particular, there are some outdoor seats with fans, but the staff was kind enough to add a disclaimer warning about potential smoke from nearby smokers. Service was prompt, and food came quite fast. Pasta and pizza were nicely done. All three pasta dishes were on point and not overcooked. The Carbonara sauce was not too rich, and the bacon was a little crispy. The Pesto sauce with pine nuts was nicely paired. The Vongole sauce was not too overpowering, and the clams were cooked just right. We ordered the white pizza, and it was good too; sliced into six pieces, the ham was lightly salted, and the dough was thin at the base and slightly puffy at the corners. The calamari batter was light but didn't really adhere, so when picking up the pieces, its coating would slip off slightly. I thought this could be given a miss. Overall, I would rate it as good and worth visiting and trying.

The queue moved relatively fast, even though it was quite long (we waited about 30 minutes). The dining time is 60 minutes, which was fine with us.
The service had its hits and misses... some staff were more interested in chatting amongst themselves than clearing empty dishes from the table, even when we had more food coming. Others were friendly and would ask if we were done so that they could clear it.
The food was quite good, and we could understand what the hype was about. We enjoyed the pizzas and the texture of the fresh pastas. We will be back to try the other items.

No reservations allowed, dining time limited to 1 hour, and we waited about 40 minutes.
The restaurant is very close to the MRT station, making it super convenient to get to. There were a lot of customers even during off-peak hours, and we ended up sharing a table with others due to the crowd.
Overall, it’s a cozy spot to experience once if you're in the area. The food was decent and portions were reasonable.
🦑 Calamari Fritti
Light and crispy, not too greasy. A good starter to share.
🍕 Tartuto e Funghi Pizza
Rich truffle aroma with earthy mushrooms, paired with a nicely chewy crust.
🍕 Diavola Pizza
A little spicy, flavorful salami with melty cheese — very satisfying for spice lovers.
🍝 Vongole Linguine
Fresh, juicy clams with pasta cooked al dente. The broth was light, clean, and flavorful.
🥟 Ravioli Alla Zucca
Sweet pumpkin filling with a creamy but not overly rich sauce. A comforting dish.
🍰 Tiramisu
Classic and well-balanced — fluffy mascarpone, coffee-soaked sponge, and a nice cocoa touch.
🍮 Panna Cotta
Smooth texture, but the flavor was quite standard compared to the other dishes.
We originally wanted to order two more main dishes but due to the time limit, the staff kindly informed us that we had to vacate the table. It was a pity as we would have loved to try more!

I wasn’t ready to believe the hype, but this pizza was truly amazing. It was light and fresh but had that pleasant saturation you get from eating pizza without feeling bloated or dirty. The ravioli was also great: simple, tasty, just the way I like it. During lunchtime, it can get very crowded, but outside of that time, it’s very doable. Prices are also reasonable.

Decided to try this place after hearing good reviews. Did not have much of a queue as I came for a late lunch.
Ordered a Margherita pizza and beef cheek pappardelle. The pizza had a thin base with rich tomato sauce and was aromatic. The crust was light and fluffy, with a pleasant aroma from the oven.
The pasta was flavorful, with a good serving of beef cheek. The pasta was handmade, with a firm texture. The tomatoes were fresh and added a refreshing element to the dish overall.
Service was quick, though the staff were quick to remind about dining time. Overall, a good experience for authentic Italian cuisine.

Queuing for more than an hour for a restaurant is not usually my way, yet I decided to make a trip down to Casa Vostra after browsing through their menu. On a Thursday night, we started queuing at 6 PM and finally got seated by 7:50 PM. It was longer than what I expected, and I was tired of waiting, but ultimately, everything was worth it the moment we received our food.
Although located in Raffles City, we received 'hotel's restaurant' standard service. They take down your name while you're queuing and ask about preferences, for example, whether an outside seat or a sharing table is okay. The time limit is 60 minutes, but food is served quickly after the order is placed. So we still had ample time to truly enjoy all the dishes. The pizza dough is great! The clear mushroom soup is made with consommé instead of a mushroom cream soup. This restaurant serves mainly pasta and pizza, and they really do a very good job!
If you simply look at the price tag, it's not considered cheap, but the quality of the food and service is indeed worthy of every single penny I spent.
I heard from the outlet manager that they are going to open new outlets at Tampines Mall and JEM. I'm happy that we can get such nice pasta and pizza more easily.
We were supposed to leave by 8:50 PM, but we were a bit behind the time limit and left the restaurant at 9 PM+, and there was still a queue.

Now I finally get the hype! This place doesn't take reservations and is usually packed, but we got lucky showing up around 5:30 PM — we waited less than 10 minutes and were seated.
The handmade pasta was chef's kiss — you can truly taste the freshness and care in every bite. The pizza? Absolutely bursting with flavor, and the ingredients are incredibly fresh.
And the meatballs... wow. You can taste the love of an Italian nonna in there. Comforting, rich, and made with heart.
Highly, highly recommend — especially if you can beat the queue!
