Engineering Coordinator

Responsibilities

Track and update engineering expenditures such as aircon, electrical, plumbing, kitchen repair / degreasing exhaust system, fire protection system, purchase of diesel

Track and update engineering outstanding works and follow up work

Updating and tracking of preventive maintenance works, monthly utilities cost like electricity and water

Coordinate and compilation of occupancy rate and room nights for energy and water

Update and track engineering inventory list and compile sustainability metrics

Consolidates duty rosters and submit monthly

Keep track and update fixed cost such as contract maintenance: Chiller/ Cooling Towers, lift, swimming pool, grease servicing, fire protection system & filing of job sheets

Assist in the coordination of in-house Engineering training

Raise material controls, purchase requisite notes etc.

Liaise with Engineering Supplier to get quotation for common supplies: lighting, filter, preventive maintenance's supplies and up keeping of inventory list

Attend inter-department meeting to align with Engineering works

Liaise and work closely with inter-departments to release out of order room lists via email

Liaise with Front Office and Housekeeping to block rooms for ad hoc project works

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar engineering coordinator or facilities management role, preferably within the hospitality industry

Strong technical skills and working knowledge of hotel systems, equipment, and infrastructure

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management abilities

Proficient in using relevant software and technology for maintenance planning and reporting
