Here's the edited review: The queue for dinner service **was** long, but we were lucky we went a little earlier and only had to wait for about 20-30 min. The dining time limit was 1 hour. Our pasta was served first (delicious); the pizza took a while because it was freshly made. Overall, the food tasted great! There **was** also a free-flow, self-service water station, which was convenient.

We went to this restaurant last Sunday. To avoid peak hours, we chose to go after the lunch period, but we still had to wait in line for about half an hour to get our seats. We ordered three flavors of pizza: black truffle, pesto, and beef. The black truffle flavor was very rich and fragrant. The pesto and beef flavors were also delicious, with a strong cheese flavor. The only downside was that the edges of the pizza were a bit burnt. Otherwise, these three flavors would have earned five stars.

Casa Vostra is one of the newest additions to the Raffles City dining scene, taking over the space previously occupied by McDonald's. Intrigued by the long lines and curious if the hype was worth it, we decided to try it out over the weekend. Despite the strict 1-hour dining limit, our experience was enjoyable. We ordered two pizzas and one carbonara, and everything was well-cooked and flavorful. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the dishes had that authentic Italian touch we were hoping for. We’re already planning a return visit to explore more of their pizza selections and hopefully try their desserts too. If you’re in the area and craving good Italian food, Casa Vostra is definitely worth the wait.

Went for a late lunch with a friend when there was no queue on 1/8/25. We wanted to check it out since there was a lot of feedback about the place. We ordered the pesto pizza and the crab pasta. The pesto pizza was the only redeeming factor about the location. When the crab pasta arrived, my friend noticed a strong smell from the dish. I didn't notice it, so I took a mouthful of both the pasta and some crab pieces from the plate. After my friend tried the pasta alone, she felt queasy because the taste was really off. I didn't think much about it, but she told me not to continue eating from the plate. So we finished the pizza and left the pasta untouched. I got really sick about two hours after the meal and was in significant pain — the crab must have been spoiled when the pasta was prepared. All I can say is that I'm glad we didn't eat any more of the pasta after trying it.

It's been a while since I queued 1.5 hours for a meal. Today, I was free with no plans for the night, so I had some time to spare and enjoyed the queue while observing City Hall. Good service by the cute but stressed concierge at the front desk, handling the queue calmly and without panic against the massive crowd, perhaps protected by her nice talisman tattoo. Pizza, pasta, and sides tasted the same as my Italian friend's restaurant in Phuket. Authentic! Very salty and heavy on the palate, but still very nice – especially the aged Parmesan ham, truffles, and cheese. The portion is just right, and I can say it's pretty reasonably priced for its quality. The dough of the pizza is very chewy while crispy at the corners. The burnt corners – ohohoh, always to my liking! Friendly manager with a handsome mustache even offered to help us take a photo. Other staff were prompt and responsive to requests. I really enjoyed the dinner. I was damn full. By the way, this is not a biased review; I didn't request any free dessert. 🤪 By the way, the Italian chili oil was interestingly aromatic and not spicy. 🤪🤪 However, if queuing is frustrating for those who have less time on hand, come after 8:30 PM. I observed that the queue was smooth and fast then. 💡💡

There's a ridiculous queue at this place starting from 5 PM for dinner. I chanced upon an opportunity when the queue was short and I had to give it a try! To my surprise, the carbonara pasta was really very average, but the pizza was really amazing and delicious! I’ll be back again as long as the queue is not too long!

The food is excellent and authentic Italian, and we did not go wrong with any of our choices. We've already returned once within a month for the fantastic prosciutto pizzas (additional ham for only $6!). It's leagues ahead of most other casual dining spots/cafes we've tried in Singapore.

The queue says it all. Visited Casa Vostra twice and was pleasantly surprised by the high quality and delicious food. Pastas were well prepared, sauces well-balanced, and made with fresh, authentic ingredients. Pizzas were freshly made, and the dough was really fluffy and chewy. Appetizers were delicious too; my favorite was the arancini. The price is very reasonable by Singapore’s standards. This is the one pasta/pizza joint that I will frequent.

If you miss the first seating, you have to wait for about 45 minutes or an hour for a table. If you're not particular, there are some outdoor seats with fans, but the staff was kind enough to add a disclaimer warning about potential smoke from nearby smokers. Service was prompt, and food came quite fast. Pasta and pizza were nicely done. All three pasta dishes were on point and not overcooked. The Carbonara sauce was not too rich, and the bacon was a little crispy. The Pesto sauce with pine nuts was nicely paired. The Vongole sauce was not too overpowering, and the clams were cooked just right. We ordered the white pizza, and it was good too; sliced into six pieces, the ham was lightly salted, and the dough was thin at the base and slightly puffy at the corners. The calamari batter was light but didn't really adhere, so when picking up the pieces, its coating would slip off slightly. I thought this could be given a miss. Overall, I would rate it as good and worth visiting and trying.

The queue moved relatively fast, even though it was quite long (we waited about 30 minutes). The dining time is 60 minutes, which was fine with us. The service had its hits and misses... some staff were more interested in chatting amongst themselves than clearing empty dishes from the table, even when we had more food coming. Others were friendly and would ask if we were done so that they could clear it. The food was quite good, and we could understand what the hype was about. We enjoyed the pizzas and the texture of the fresh pastas. We will be back to try the other items.
