What an unpleasant shopping experience at Diptyque today. I was totally ignored, and despite my attempts to ask further questions, the staff was busy attending to another client and didn't acknowledge me or ask me to wait. It left me like a hanging chicken.

Here's the lightly edited review:
I visited Diptyque Raffles City boutique twice in January (on the 8th and 21st), and was attended to by Agnes and Joey.
Their exceptional service left a lasting impression on me. During my first visit, Agnes displayed incredible patience as I took my time to make a decision (slow and picky customer). Her pleasant and friendly demeanor made the shopping experience enjoyable.
During my second visit, Joey consistently delivered outstanding service. She was equally patient and kind, making me feel comfortable as I explored different fragrances and made additional purchases.
I am truly grateful to Agnes and Joey for their exceptional customer service and generous assistance. Their warmth, patience, and friendliness were remarkable. I will definitely come back to Diptyque Raffles City.

I was attended by the short-haired, patient lady in the photo shared by others. She may not be a very warm person, which is a quality most customers usually prefer, but she does maintain her professionalism and friendliness. As for the customer who complained about the service charge, a GST is not a service charge; it is the same as sales tax in the U.S.

The team at Diptyque Raffles City truly knows how to make a customer feel valued. I visited a couple of times and was consistently impressed by **their** excellent service. I ended up buying a few of their candles (Mimosa is my favorite!) and some perfumes. The two female staff members were extremely friendly and well-informed, making the whole experience enjoyable. Their extensive product knowledge really helped me find the perfect selections. It’s rare to see such dedication and passion, and I can’t wait to visit again!

I was quite taken aback by the service at Diptyque—and not in a good way. We purchased a set of two candles yesterday, and since it was a wedding gift for our friend, we inquired about the packaging, just to ensure it would look impressive and presentable.
The staff member became annoyed with us after a few questions and nearly snapped at us for asking about the gift box and the price (they had some discounts for candles). It didn't help that the staff member was hard to understand, which made us want to clarify (in fact, it almost sounded like she quoted us the wrong price at the counter). I had to step in and nicely say, "We're just clarifying about the packaging since this is a gift for a friend. We didn't mean to annoy you. Could you help us out here?"
You would think they'd be a little more understanding, given it was a wedding gift and one that was close to $200; we just wanted to ensure everything was in order.
This will be the first and last time I step into this store.

Gin had a beautiful warm smile and exceptional service. She took time to explain the product and made sure I enjoyed each smell. Thank you, and come and see Gin. She will surely help you, even if you're not buying.

Gian was an expert in fragrance, with a keen sense for scents. She found the scent that suited customers very well. I appreciate her help 🩷🩷…

Thank you so much, Johnny, for the service! As I was unable to make it in store to purchase the exclusive city candles, I had to contact RC via WhatsApp Business to enquire further. And I'm so thankful for Johnny as he was very patient with me and recommended city candles to me based on my preferred scent! Appreciate the effort! Will visit the RC outlet more often 😇

I was at the store today and I was keen on exploring Diptyque. The store guy seemed really unfriendly and annoyed with my questions. While I was heading out, a set of fragrances piqued my interest. I picked them up to see them, as they looked like samplers, and raised them to my arm to spray. Only then did this man yell at me not to try them, quoting they were limited edition. There could have been a more polite way to address customers. A board or sign for store etiquette could really help avoid these unpleasant situations. I felt really embarrassed and walked out. I’m never returning to Diptyque again. I bought my perfumes elsewhere.
