I have frequently visited this store, and it has always been good. But today, February 6, 2025, I ordered a curry chicken pie. From the first bite, I knew something inside wasn't fresh (there was a very strong 'spoilt oil' taste). I threw the entire pie away, and my money was wasted. It's quite disappointing, to be very honest, as I have always thought the ingredients, oil, etc., used were fresh.

Epi D'or is my favorite bakery in town. Their bread and pastries are consistently fresh and delicious, and I can always rely on them for a satisfying breakfast or a sweet treat. The variety of options they offer is impressive, and their prices are reasonable.

This bakery offers a wide variety of fresh pastries and bread at reasonable prices. It's located in the basement. Their cakes are also fresh, and I always pick up some sliced cakes here for afternoon tea breaks. Recommended!

They are under the Four Leaves Group, but it seems that only this brand sells muffins. The muffins are very adorable and cute. They look so simple but taste fantastic. I love the big chocolate chunks, and they're not too sweet. The blueberry muffin has a little artificial aftertaste, though. I would say go for the chocolate chunk one!

TLDR: Bakery with good quality dough Order: Blueberry steam cake, Cheese bun, Coffee bun, Raspberry biscuit, Best Seller Mentaiko bread, Milk creme croissant, Fresh Tuna bread Cost: $9.50 I've not seen this bakery before, so I decided to try it. The selections and flavours were interesting, different from a typical bakery. That said, some of the flavours will definitely benefit from heating up. Price-wise, I think it's slightly higher than usual, but for good quality ingredients, I don't really mind. If you are someone who likes bread or are looking for something different, light, and nice, this bakery is a good option for you. Overall, it's nice, but it isn't something unique and mind-blowing as a whole.

Despite its somewhat fancier branding, Epi D'or is essentially the same reliable bakery as Four Leaves / St Leaven. I was pleasantly surprised to find some of their signature buns on display, and the purchasing workflow was just as smooth and familiar as at their other outlets. I grabbed my usual mini buns and enjoyed a perfectly happy tea time.
