Paid online and collected a yellow IVY dress for $268 at the Raffles City outlet. Upon checking before collecting, I discovered two stained areas on the dress. However, the brand's supervisor refused a discount on my already paid item as compensation for the defective piece. One of the staff (an 'auntie') there was disappointing in her service and attitude. I spend almost $1k at C K Tang, but anyway, when you visit their store or counter, be prepared to get staff with attitude problems serving you.

I did a 1.5-hour bag making workshop here today.
I'm giving a mixed review because even though I enjoyed it, there was a lot of room for improvement, mostly regarding the shortage of competent staff.
I arrived 5 minutes early for my workshop and was informed by the facilitator (an Indian lady) that it would be delayed slightly as the previous workshop for three ladies ran over. As I waited, the three ladies finished up but continued to linger around the workshop table and later interrupted my workshop by asking questions about retail products. They also hung around the seat where I was supposed to sit (there are only two seats). It would be good for the session to end on time and for previous participants to be guided to another part of the shop to inquire with other staff rather than interrupt an ongoing workshop.
My workshop took exactly 1.5 hours as a solo participant. I don't think three people can finish in the same time, so Ginlee may want to rethink the timing for larger groups.
The Indian lady did her best throughout my workshop; she was clear, competent, and passionate. However, my workshop was interrupted so many times because she had to greet every customer who walked in, assist them with trying items, help at the cashier, and type busily on her mobile phone. It was very disruptive and hard to get her undivided attention even as she tried her best.
There was one other staff member around—a Caucasian lady who seemed new and very passive—while my facilitator rushed around wearing multiple hats during my workshop. I hope management can hire more competent staff to help the Indian lady run the workshop uninterrupted.

My friends and I recently attended Make by Ginlee and **were** thoroughly impressed with both the selection and quality of their products.
The variety of materials was exceptional, and the staff **member, Ikhsan,** was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful in guiding us to perfect our bags.
Overall, I highly recommend Make by Ginlee for anyone looking to craft their own bags. I’ll definitely be returning for future projects!

We had a lovely experience at GINLEE Studio in Raffles Shopping Centre. The customer service is absolutely superb — friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being pushy. My wife loves their clothing range and always gets compliments wherever she goes! The colours are vibrant, the fabrics feel high quality, and the cuts are both stylish and comfortable.
GINLEE is a proudly homegrown Singaporean brand known for its thoughtful, sustainable design philosophy. Their recent collection pays tribute to local heritage with pieces inspired by the traditional kebaya, celebrating its versatility and evolution over the years. We especially loved the signature Ivy and Ella dresses in a unique red-pink gradient — a nod to the national flag and a powerful statement in both fashion and identity.
Located right inside Raffles Shopping Centre, it’s easy to find and well worth a visit for anyone who appreciates design that blends innovation, culture, and craftsmanship. Highly recommended.
