What truly made an impression was their sincere hospitality. We are acquainted with Peter and his outstanding events. We were pleased to see him here and were confident that our evening would be exceptional. He invested time in understanding our wine preferences and suggested several remarkable options that precisely matched our tastes. We particularly enjoyed how he explained the origins and tasting notes clearly and concisely—it felt like an enlightening wine education session. He simplified things for us, and we are extremely thankful for that.
We ordered several Italian dishes with wine pairings, and each dish was meticulously presented and expertly matched with a glass of wine. The care taken in pairing flavors was obvious. Everything was deliberate and harmonious.

During my recent visit to Grand Cru yesterday evening, I enjoyed an exceptional dining experience. Visited twice, 2 days apart. Both visits were a great experience. Great pizza from Casa Vostra. They offer a good selection of wines by the glass (both white and red). I would love to see a wider selection of Burgundy and Bordeaux wines on the list. I would definitely come back here whenever I visit Singapore.

Ambience and wine selection were good. We had 4 glasses of wine (2 whites and 2 reds), and they were great, as we were able to try and compare wines from different countries without breaking the bank.
The service standard, however, was below what we expected of a wine bar. For example, chilli sauce was served in small packets like those from McDonald's delivery instead of on a sauce plate. The pizza from Casa Vostra was great (a bonus: we skipped the queue), but the other sides were not up to standard. Gochujang chicken was soggy and not crispy when served, and the fries had a fishy taste (we suspect the oil was reused from frying fish and chips prior). Overall, the food and service can be improved.
