Everything is really cute, high quality, and the price is reasonable, but I felt they need to improve their customer service. One of the ladies was extremely rude when I asked where to find some displayed items; she was nearly yelling at me, "it’s right over there" (without pointing anything). When I asked again, she 'tsk'ed, sighed, and showed me the way without saying anything.

Not the best range in this outlet. The merchandise is also dusty.
A female Malay staff member ran out, shouting at the top of her voice. 😱
I feel embarrassed for Hooga to have such crazy and poorly behaved staff. Perhaps management isn't doing their jobs. 🤣

A great place to find inexpensive items for your home. Their bedding is nice and soft, and they have loads of items for your bathroom and living room. I got a great laundry basket here.

Good selection of home goods. I bought their Tencel sheets and duvet, and both are very comfortable and affordable. I am happy with my purchases.

This shop feels like a nice getaway, where you can doze off or simply chill. I finally found my cotton-filled pillows at this pitstop. $17 per pillow – not bad. No wonder the term 'retail therapy' was coined.

Love the vibes in this outlet. Super thankful to Mas and Mun Mun for being so great and taking the time and effort to care, especially when wrapping the crockery 🥹…

Interesting minimalist homeware store. I liked their whole plant section and kitchenware.

The staff were really helpful, and their Christmas discount of 20% was a pleasant surprise. The gift wrapping was reasonably timed, considering how many items they needed to wrap.

Good range of products, but even better staff! Aina spent a lot of effort to assist me in checking two huge mirrors and tying them up properly for easier carrying by hand. Thank you!

19 Aug 2024 6.30pm. I would like to highly commend the two Malay staff (one gentleman and one lady) working this evening, who readily helped me with my request (especially the lady) despite being very busy at the store. They did not complain or show any frustration throughout my time there. I am so impressed with their patience, service attitude, and smiles when serving me.

HOOGA (pronounced "hue-guh") is a Singapore home-decor brand inspired by the Danish art of coziness.
I came here to browse the store's merchandise, hoping to find something to re-decorate my home for the coming festivities.
The Hooga store sells mainly lifestyle furnishing merchandise, and the items are reasonably priced. I got a pair of furry and soft bedroom slippers for my mother-in-law at SGD16. Considering the premium quality of the slippers, I find the price to be a fair one.
From what I observed, the shop's merchandise includes bedroom accessories, bedsheets, pillows, bolsters, seat cushions, crockery, cutlery, kitchenware, woven baskets, gardening pots, artificial flowers, bedroom wear, and many more lifestyle products.
I like the lighting in the store. The warm amber lights are not harsh and allow one to shop in comfort and peace.

Lovely place with a lot of varieties of candles and other stuff.

It seems Akemi has rebranded into Hooga. They've transitioned from bedlinen to a lifestyle brand. Credit to them for pivoting from being a household brand, yet retaining reasonable pricing with good quality as a mass-affordable luxury brand. Kudos!
The 'showroom experience' is well done with a huge table of scents, which gets all walk-in customers interacting with the brand. 👍

Everyone seems to come here for their room fragrances, and I do recognise that they have an extensive range to choose from. However, I came here for their pajamas and bed throws. Both are extremely and wonderfully soft.
Their dinnerware is also not bad if you need some modern-looking table settings.

Nice store with household items. It is located close to the escalator going to Citilink.
There's a variety of home items: bean bags, bed sheets, super soft blankets, dishes, candles, bathroom amenities, plants. It's fun to stroll through and discover.
