This is my 3rd time buying for CNY, and I've finally come to realize their samples tasted better than the ones inside the tins. I didn't even taste any pink salt from the ones packed inside the tins, but with the sample ones, you could taste the salt in every sample they served.

The staff is very knowledgeable about the products and recommended some cookies to me according to my needs. I bought the Pandan, Hae Bee Hiam, and Honey Earl Grey according to her recommendations, as I was gifting them to elderly/adults who usually have different tastes. True enough, the Honey Earl Grey one isn't very sweet, so it is suitable for elderly taste buds. I won't be trying the other two flavors, as they are meant as gifts for my relatives overseas. I wish that they would allow customers to taste-test the cookies. I agree with another review that the cookies are quite pricey, so it would be good if we could have a taste test first. I hope the company can take this into consideration. I love the packaging of the tins, as it's really pretty. Next time, I will buy other best sellers to try.

Service needs to be improved. New to the brand, so I enquired which was the best-selling. The salesperson kept asking which size of cookies I wanted, and I had to keep repeating my question. After finally getting through to her, I asked for two flavours to try. Both were not to my liking, so I thanked her and left. Her face changed, and she told her colleague, β€œShe just wanted to taste the cookies.”

Very expensive. Three flat tins for $150. However, they are really delicious. Who would think that chicken and rice cookies could taste so good?

Friendly and good service. I've been buying from them since late 2000s when they were in Esplanade.

I've been buying since they first started at Esplanade. But it's really quite premium, so I only pamper myself once in a while, usually during Xmas and CNY when they offer new festive flavours. They make really nice gifts too.

They offer a unique variety of flavours. Personally, the peach yoghurt and earl grey lavender are perfect.
