Bad shop... Most chocolates expire very soon, overpriced.

Be careful with the expiry dates of products, especially those near the entrance and at great discounts. Most of them were expiring in the next month; some were even expiring on February 11, 2011, just five days after my visit on February 6! Luckily, the cashier reminded me about the expiry dates, so kudos to such a great cashier. Not many like them are around now.

The website isn't search-friendly, and many items are out of stock. I can’t filter results by in-stock availability or cocoa % content.

The cashier's inflexibility made our shopping experience very bad. We bought a lot of boxed chocolates and large chocolate bars, and we wanted four pieces of paper sleeves for small chocolates. The clerk rejected our request without empathy...

There was an unnecessary misunderstanding here because they didn't bother to correctly label the chocolate pricing. The chocolates on the left were individually priced, not 2 for $8, but we never knew until we reached the cashier. Will never shop here again.

They sometimes have good sales and discounts. Love that they carry Neuhaus chocolates.

Gina from the shop proactively **assisted** me to design and arrange 7 chocolate gift boxes. Thank you for helping!

I was surprised to find good deals here.

Have not patronised Cocoa Tree for a while, and I really like the sleeve idea with Ritter Sport chocolate. 1. It allows you to customise. 2. It infuses some fun and meaning into an otherwise sweet treat. Good idea from Cocoa Tree!

Nice place to get chocolate novelties. A bit pricey, but there's a good selection of varieties. They provide samples too, which is great to try before you buy.

Always a wide selection of chocolates here. Keep an eye out for special offers. The outlet in Raffles City has the full range of Ritter Sport, including the elusive dark chocolate with almond and orange (my personal weak spot).

I visited Cacao Tree to use a UniqGift voucher. We had an issue at another branch, Star Vista, where they refused to honour the voucher due to “lack of training.” This branch was much friendlier, and I bought more chocolates with nice discounts. These discounted products have a short expiry time (about 3 to 4 weeks), but they are okay and great value.

Here's an edited version: A chocolate shop in the Raffles City Shopping Centre. It was a bit difficult to find. Many different types of chocolate and brands are available. I suggest checking for any available offers. Staff was helpful with queries and suggestions. Just to add, this is not a restaurant; it is a chocolate shop. They accept both cash and cards for payment.
